Village Frame and Gallery is an owner-operated, full service custom framing operation and fine art gallery. It all started with a strong interest in the world of art and a desire to be a productive part of it. George and Deann Cline opened the doors of Village Frame & Gallery on September 1, 1999, in an effort to define their own level of quality and customer service in regard to the presentation and preservation of artwork and memorabilia. Together they established the high standards that now guide the day-to-day operations of their business.Custom framing is a craft with all of the challenging characteristics of any other craft. To perform it well one must respect the parameters of time, tools and temperament. At Village Frame & Gallery, we have established an environment and team of professionals capable of providing our customers with an exceptional product in a timely manner. |
Deann HoltzPrior to her interest in custom framing, Deann spent many years assisting individuals, groups, even whole communities to clarify their needs, visualize the end result, and define a course for getting there. Her skillful application of the tools and techniques of facilitation are extremely valuable when assisting customers in the design phase of a custom framing project. In 1995, Deann decided to expand her creative skills by learning the art of custom framing. She trained with some of the best in the industry, took guidance from the specialists, and ultimately found herself in the business of custom framing and fine art. | |
George ClineGeorge has spent many years cultivating an extensive knowledge of accounting, system analysis and process management. He applies this knowledge base and general apptitude to managing the business side of the business. He makes sure the cash flows as smoothly as possible and that everyone gets their share. Of course he is a very capable framer as well. He likes to think of himself as backroom support, focusing on the tools and techniques of the craft; leaving the design and customer interaction to the more creative members of the team. |

Meredith GoinWe are quite fortunate to have Ms. Meredith Goin on staff. She is an artist who joined our team in 2001. Meredith brings a much needed, youthful perspective to the over-forty-gang. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Portland State University providing her with an extensive background in fine art and art history. Meredith has proven herself to be a highly marketable artist as well. When her time allows, examples of her work are normally exhibited in the Art Gallery portion of this website. Her knowledge of the tools and techniques of painting and printmaking have proven to be quite valuable, so if you have any questions on those subjects, just ask her! |

Linda HorsfallOne might say it all began with Linda Horsfall, Deann's trainer and mentor. At the minimum, Village Frame & Gallery has consistently benefitted from her 15+ years of experience in the industry. Having worked in both the retail and wholesale aspects of custom framing, she has kept us from "learning the hard way" in many instances. She is our most valuable technical resource; we count on her to either know the answer or where to find it. Linda works with us part-time and spends the rest of her working hours as an independent web designer (yes, she designed ours!). She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the |
