Sharon Geraci is a Portland, Oregon artist specializing in water-media. She is active in the Watercolor Society of Oregon, and has served two years as president of the organization. As a member of Talisman Gallery in Portland, she also served on the Steering and Marketing Committees. Her formal education is in urban planning and design, but she has been a painter most of her life. The majority of Sharon's watercolors are landscape and figurative works, but she enjoys working in various styles ranging from realistic to abstract. She has recently been concentrating on creating abstract collages using papers stained with acrylic paint, and will be teaching a class in this technique at the Multnomah Art Center. Sharon will also be a Roster Artist for the Young Audiences program for the upcoming 2001-2002 school year. In addition to painting, Sharon is a muralist and does custom hand-painted tiles for interior decors. She has provided these services for numerous private clients in residences and business establishments throughout the Portland metro area.
