Pink LadyLinda Griffin is known for dramatically and distinctively capturing the beauty of light and shadow against floral and architectural subjects. Linda's training in art began in Europe, where she spent many years of her childhood.

Upon returning to Washington, she achieved early success in oil painting. Although Linda discovered her true medium upon completion of her first watercolor class.

She has studied with numerous prominent artists such as Ernest Land, Carlton Plumer and Skip Lawrence.

Her works are recognized in numerous corporate, public and private collections throughout the United States and Japan, including the Marriott Corporation owning 28 originals, and The Industrial Research Center of Japan, which has 30 originals.

Linda's most recent awards include the prestigious Holbein Award in the Mid-Atlantic Regional Watercolor Competition, and Honorable Mentions in both The Potomac Valley Watercolor Competition and The Frederickburg Art Festival.
