Mt. Hood and DeschutesJohn Waddingham is well known for his easel paintings and drawings, which have appeared in invitational and juried shows and galleries throughout the United States.

His illustrations have appeared in many periodicals, including Ford Times Magazine, Kiwanis International, C.A. Magazine, The Artist (London, Eng.), and Antwerpen (Belgium) Gazet. American Artist magazine featured him May, 1967 and June, 1990.

Jazz ClubHis watercolors have twice been circulated throughout the United States by the American Watercolor Society Travelling Exhibition, and Vincent Price has puchased over a dozen of his works for the Vincent Price Collection.

Until his death in 2002, John maintained a studio at his home in Portland, Oregon. He is represented by several galleries in Oregon and Washington. He has had over thirty one-man shows in the Northwest.

He is an Artist Member of the Portland Art Museum, past president of the Portland Art Directors' Club, is a frequent juror of art shows and is included in "Who's Who In America", and "Fielding's Dictionary of American Painters and Sculptors."

He was born in London, England and lived in India and Canada before coming to the United States.
